The Red Bulls beat D.C. United Sunday 3-2 at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
With the win, Big Red tied for first place with D.C. United. The two teams are rivals. Someone hung a HUGE sign that said ”D.C UNITED – HATED SINCE 1996.” There was also a funny drawing of a young boy peeing on the DC United logo. I don’t think mom was happy about Tory and me seeing that.
We sat below the fans that had come from DC and they were so loud.
Anyway, the fans voted for the Man of the Match, which is like the First Star of the Game in hockey. Brendon Barklage won it probably because he had two goals and one assist. My mouth hit the floor! John Gunner Solli scored the third goal, which was the game-winner. After losing two of their last three games, it was a huge acomplishment for the New York Red Bulls.

The Red Bulls did a great job and it was exciteing
Their stadium is called Red Bull Arena. it’s very big. You should go there. They have a lot of seats. The arena is very clean and if you stay for a game you will love it. It’s so much fun. Also, the prices at the concession stands for the food is cheap. I like that they have plenty of bathrooms and there’s LOTS AND LOTS of entertament outside the arena before the game. You could play a game, race a Red Bulls player (on a screen), and play like a Simon-game. You touch where it tells you to until you make a mistake. If you want to take a picture, not only is it a picture, but they make you look like you are on the cover of a Red Bulls magazine. It’s really cool.
